All the approved contributions have been published as the Workshop Proceedings. For online version of the Proceedings see here (note also citation guidelines at the bottom of the page).

The extended papers, based on the authors' Workshop contributions will be published in 2006 in a special issue of a renowned peer-reviewed journal as well as a separate book by the same publisher.

The authors' papers follow the structure of the Workshop and center around (1) bottom-up and/versus top-down emission inventory analyses, (2) signal detection/analysis, and (3) emissions trading.

The Editorial Board will make a concerted effort to ensure proper linkages among the papers and to define and clarify the thematic thread that will hold the publication together as a larger and cohesive document. This unique publication (special journal issue and book) addresses a wide range of uncertainties, ranging from the measurement of greenhouse gas emissions to the trading of emissions; links these uncertainties across, typically, disciplinary boundaries; and thus provides a common basis for experts from different disciplinary backgrounds.
